The Hive

There's something pleasingly honest about a café that keeps strict weekday hours — half eight until half two, Monday to Friday — and this Putney spot does exactly that. Run by Roehampton Students' Union, a registered charity that reinvests everything back into the student experience, it pairs dog-friendly outdoor seating with takeaway and dine-in options, not to mention step-free entry and wheelchair-accessible seating. A 4.6 rating from 86 reviews suggests it's doing plenty right.
