Independently owned and unapologetically dog-friendly, this Blackheath bar and café runs from morning coffee and brunch right through to evening dining and cocktails. The British-leaning menu takes vegan and vegetarian cooking seriously, alongside Sunday roasts and a kids' menu, and the whole place is step-free from car park to toilet. It's the sort of easy-going neighbourhood spot that works as well for a midweek breakfast as it does for a long weekend dinner.
