Queen's Wood Cafe

Organic fruit and vegetables from the volunteer-tended permaculture garden just outside find their way into many of the dishes here, served alongside wholesome homemade food and pastries baked fresh daily. This community project in Muswell Hill's Queen's Wood goes well beyond coffee and cake, hosting poetry, music and visual arts events, with therapy sessions in a cabin on site and children's parties that explore the surrounding woods. Dogs are welcomed on the verandah with water and treats on hand, and the licensed, child-friendly space means a glass of wine with lunch is entirely permissible.
