Pear Tree Cafe

Set right at the centre of Clapham Common, this is the local outpost of a small family of park cafes that also includes Battersea Park and Lincoln's Inn Fields. The kitchen builds its menus around seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, while an on-site bakery turns out daily breads, cakes and cookies from scratch — using Wild Farmed flour and Cacklebean eggs. With outdoor tables, a warm welcome for dogs and hours running from early morning into the evening, it works as happily for a quick coffee as for a slow afternoon on the common.
