Café, church and charity all rolled into one, this Brick Lane spot has been part of the Spitalfields community since it first introduced itself with red velvet cake and good coffee in the summer of 2012. The space hosts everything from art exhibitions and music nights to public consultations, but the core idea is simple: a welcoming pause from the rush of London where anyone can belong. Cakes and speciality coffee are served seven days a week, with dine-in, takeaway and delivery all available.
