A proper neighbourhood spot between Stamford Hill and Stoke Newington, Esters cooks a short, creative menu from scratch, inspired by local produce from small farmers in Cambridgeshire and Sussex. Saturdays bring an extended brunch menu and the occasional queue, while the quieter weekday mornings make it far easier to walk straight in. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the garden, no reservations are taken, and the doors stay shut on Sundays and Mondays.
