A Green Flag award-winning park with a remarkable maritime past, this quiet, tree-lined garden in east Greenwich is the final resting place of around 3,000 sailors who spent their last days at the Royal Hospital Greenwich. The on-site cafe serves refreshments daily from 9am to 6pm, while the children's playground, table tennis and dog-friendly, wheelchair-accessible grounds give you plenty of reason to linger.
