What started life as a Chinese tuktuk bought off eBay and rebuilt from the ground up is now a female-run pavement pâtisserie, parked as a permanent trailer by the main entrance of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park. German-born founder Emily bakes everything herself, serving homemade cakes alongside speciality coffee roasted by La Tostadora in Bethnal Green, including a signature naturally caffeine-free chicory brew in honour of the flower that gives the place its name. Open daily from 9am to 4pm, it has earned a flawless 5.0 rating from 51 reviews.
