Blackhorse Workshop Cafe

Part of the Walthamstow makers' workshop that gives this cafe its name, it pours coffee made with Wood Street Coffee beans — sold by the bag to take home — for bench-bookers, studio-dwellers and passers-by alike. The welcome is broad: dogs, buggies and wheelchairs are all catered for, with step-free access, outdoor seating and vegan and gluten-free options on the menu. From 1 July 2026 it will be run by Pulse and Pickle, a not-for-profit migrant-led social enterprise, bringing a new vegan menu rooted in local and ethical supply chains, plus community meals, film and music nights.
